WHITE OIL PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
White Oils are derivatives of crude oil which have been extremely highly refined to give a colourless and odourless product for applications where purity of the oil is crucial.
They can be used as carriers and bases in liquid pharmaceutical products, and are used in applications where the product comes into direct or indirect food contact, for example manufacture of food packaging or as bakery tray release agents. The Shell range of Ondina White Oils meet the latest European and US Pharmacopoeia and also European and US FDA specifications for direct and indirect food contact.
